Hi there, I’m Fiona, AKA Night Sister. I am an English writer of both original and fan-based fiction, with Shattered Darkness being my most ambitious fanfiction project to date. I spend a lot of my time writing, or daydreaming about writing (the former is far more productive) and I attend university where I am working towards a joint degree in English literature and creative writing. My updates should be regular, but I often lose interest for large amounts of time and stop writing – my reasoning for stopping is that I am well aware that a reader can tell when a writer is bored, and I would not want to display anything that hadn’t had my full attention.

My love of writing began in high school and is mostly inspired by the books that I read. Tolkien, Eddings and Pullman have been a definite influence on my style, and though I have high hopes of one day reaching their success I have no illusions that I will ever have their kind of talent.
