“Reaver”.
“Go rescue some travellers, or slay some monsters, or slay some travellers! The details aren’t important.”
The main protagonist and Anti-Hero of our tale, a man of limited patience and a dangerous marksman, Reaver is narcissistic, egotistical, and shows little regard for his own life to a sociopathic level. Well known for his infidelity, sexual impropriety, and not least his immortality, his return to Bloodstone after spending a year in Samarkand marks the beginning of a journey, both mental and spiritual, that will lead the King of Thieves to begin to question everything he has come to learn over his long life.
The Heroes are drawn together once again, and Reaver is once more faced with the decision of whether or not he will aid them. Through their growing friendships and the feelings of being truly valued, Reaver comes to find that that perhaps what he had always feared is not as frightening as he had imagined.
